Rappahannock Reflections, LLC, doing business as Rappahannock Reflections, owns the copyright to its images unless a signed written agreement says otherwise.
This page is intended to clarify image ownership, licensing requests, and how to report unauthorized use. For more detailed rules, please review our Digital Image License, Client Gallery Terms, and Terms of Sale.
Image Ownership
Purchasing, downloading, receiving, or printing an image does not transfer copyright ownership.
Personal-use clients receive a limited license based on their session, purchase, gallery access, or written agreement.
Business, commercial, school, team, organization, sponsor, and event usage rights are controlled by the signed agreement connected to that work.
Using Images
Images may only be used according to the license or agreement that applies to them.
If you are unsure whether your intended use is allowed, please contact us before using the image.
Licensing Requests
To request permission for business use, commercial use, publication, advertising, sponsorship use, resale, contest submission, merchandise, or any use not already covered by your license or agreement, contact:

Please include:
- Your name
- The image or gallery involved
- How you want to use the image
- Where the image will appear
- Whether the use is personal, business, commercial, editorial, nonprofit, school, team, or event-related
Reporting Unauthorized Use
If you believe an image by Rappahannock Reflections has been copied, screenshotted, edited, reposted, sold, used commercially, used without permission, or otherwise misused, please contact us at info@rapreflections.com.
Please include:
- A link or screenshot showing the unauthorized use
- Where you found it
- Any known details about who posted or used it
- The related gallery, event, client, or image, if known
We will review the report and take appropriate action when necessary.
